Connemara Bees are based in Connemara in the west of Ireland. We are a developer of high quality natural personal care products using bee produce such as honey and beeswax. We consider ourselves to be an environmental company. We believe it is important when taking from nature to give back something in return. That is why 10% of our company profits are earmarkedfor environmental causes.
Bees are extraordinary creatures. Everybody knows that bees produce honey and beeswax. They are also exceptionally good pollinators and are responsible for about 30% of our food. For anybody who keeps bees they are also great environmental teachers, because as a beekeeper you will become more in tune to the seasonal weather conditions and when certain plants that the bees visit start to flower. Therefore, anybody who keeps bees does nature a tremendous service and that is why they are the symbol of our company. That is why as a customer, if you purchase our products, you help the wider environment as our bees encourage the pollination of wild flowers and greatly benefit the biodiversity of the eco-system.
